How It Works
A Straightforward Process From Estimate to Completion

First Call and Free Estimate
You call or send the form and we set a time to look at the roof or project in person. The estimate is free and written, and it covers the full scope of the work.

Inspection and Measurement
We walk the roof and attic, check the decking, flashing and ventilation, and measure the job so the estimate reflects what is actually there.
- 03
Material Selection
You see real samples and we walk the tradeoffs between asphalt shingle and metal for your roof, your budget and how long you plan to own the house.
- 04
Plan the Work
We schedule the job, order materials and go over what happens on site, so you know the sequence before the first truck shows up.
- 05
Build It Right
The old roofing comes off down to the deck, damaged boards get repaired, underlayment and flashing are detailed, then the new roof or the new construction goes on to specification.
- 06
Cleanup and Final Walkthrough
We haul debris, run a magnetic sweep of the yard and driveway, then walk the finished work with you and go over the 10-year craftsmanship warranty in writing.

How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-family roof replacements in the Fort Wayne area take one to three working days once the crew is on site. Steeper pitches, multiple layers of old shingles and bad decking add time. Your written estimate gives a specific schedule for your house before we start.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. GNG gives a free written estimate on roofing, remodeling, additions and custom construction projects across Northeast Indiana. There is no charge to have us come look at your home.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. GNG Roofing & Construction is fully licensed and insured for every job we take on, roofing, remodels and new construction alike.
What roofing materials do you install?
Asphalt shingle roofing and metal roofing, including standing seam and panel metal roofs. We install to manufacturer specification and show you real samples before you decide.
Do you build custom homes?
Yes. We build custom homes from foundation to finish trim with our own crew, along with ground-up new construction.
Do you build pole barns?
Yes. We build post-frame pole barns for workshops, storage, and residential or agricultural use. We size and detail each one for the site and how you plan to use it.
Do you remodel kitchens and bathrooms?
Yes. Kitchens and bathrooms are a regular part of our remodeling work, from layout and cabinetry through tile, fixtures and trim.
Do you build room additions, decks and patios?
Yes. We frame and finish room additions, build and replace decks, and build patios and outdoor living space. The same crew that roofs your house handles the addition.
